Killin Pine started with one axe, a backyard, and a simple idea: everyone deserves a little danger in their day.
How It Started
From Backyard Hobby to Hampton Roads' Favorite Mobile Experience
What started as a weekend obsession quickly turned into something bigger. We realized that axe throwing isn't just a sport — it's a conversation starter, a team-builder, and the kind of thing people talk about for years.
We built Killin Pine to bring that experience directly to you. No venue to book, no driving across town. We show up with everything — lanes, axes, targets, and a certified instructor — and turn your event into something unforgettable.
Today we serve all of Hampton Roads, from Virginia Beach to Norfolk to Chesapeake, and we're proud to be the region's go-to mobile axe throwing crew.

From 5 to 500, we scale to your crew. Our setup works for intimate birthday parties and massive corporate events alike.
We Come to You
Fully mobile — we bring the lanes, axes, and everything else. Your backyard, venue, or parking lot becomes the arena.
No Experience Needed
First time throwing? Perfect. Our instructors teach everyone from scratch and have you sticking axes in minutes.
Safety
We Take Safety Seriously
Axe throwing is an extreme sport — and we treat it that way. Every Killin Pine event follows a strict safety protocol developed from years of experience.
- Certified instructor present at all times
- Closed-toe shoes required for all participants
- Minimum age of 13 (under 18 requires parental consent)
- No throwing under the influence of alcohol
- All participants sign a waiver before throwing
- Throwing lanes are fully enclosed and spectator-safe
